Stølen is a family-friendly ski area with varied slopes and a dedicated children's area. You will also find Rockoss here, which was renovated and ready for the 2025/26 season.
 
Oppdal town centre is 5 km away, with shops, restaurants, cafés, cultural attractions and other services.
 
When the snow melts, the area is a great starting point for exploring the mountain town of Oppdal. Discover the mountains on foot or by bike, or try activities such as rafting, fishing and musk ox safaris.
