_Bardøla Fjelltun - Paalrud - Geilo

In Paalrud you will find two floors with a beautiful, Norwegian atmosphere. The house was built in 1923 and here you will experience that the story is in the walls.

Paalrud has four bedrooms with space for 12 people in total. In the newly renovated kitchen you will find everything you need to conjure up delicious meals as well as a large living room with fireplace and TV. Own dining room. Paalrud has a cozy terrace where you can enjoy your afternoon coffee.
In the first floor you find two bedrooms with twinbeds. In the second floor you have 2 bedrooms with 4 beds spaces in each.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds

1st floor:

Bedroom 1: Double bed + 2 single beds
Bedroom 2: 4 single beds



All our cabins are furnished to give you a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cabins are heated when you arrive and a firewood sack is ready. Bed linen and towels are also in place. The cabins have TV, telephone and free wifi.
 
The age limit for stays without parents/adults in charge is 23 years old. Please contact the hotel in case you would like to request another agreement.

Public transportation
Train: From Bergen, you can take the scenic Bergen railway to Geilo. From Oslo, there are several daily train departures for Geilo. Check out www.vy.no/en for prices and timetables. If you want to order taxi from the train station please call +47 32 09 10 00.
Bus: Express and local buses pass through the area. More information www.entur.no/en
Car: From Oslo you can drive RV 7 through Hallingdalen (219 km), or drive E134 to Kongsberg and from there take FV40 through Numedal (241 km).
From Bergen RV7 along the Hardanger Fjord and Hardangervidda is a national tourist road (239 km). You can also choose to drive Route 50 through magnificent scenery between Aurland and Hol, and the last 10km on RV7 to Geilo.
