Toppastranda 20 - Gålå

Toppastranda 20

Welcome to Toppastranda 20!

We are renting out our spacious 80 m² basement apartment in our cozy, log-cabin style house at Gålå.

The apartment accommodates 4+2 guests. One bedroom features a spacious wardrobe, and the bathroom includes a shower and a private washing machine. The living room is equipped with a wood-burning stove, a seating area, and a pull-out daybed suitable for two people. There is a basic TV connected to Apple TV (we only provide NRK, but you can log into your own streaming services). Free Wi-Fi is included.
Outside, guests have exclusive access to two private, southwest-facing outdoor seating areas. Near the outdoor space, there is a trampoline and a sandbox used by our two young boys, who are more than happy to share them with visiting playmates.

The town center of Gålå is just a short distance away. Right behind the house, it is only 100 meters up to the cross-country ski connection trail, which links into Gålå's vast trail network. Gålå Stadium and the local grocery store (Gålå Handel) are a 15-minute walk away. In the summer, this path becomes a charming trail leading into beautiful hiking terrain. The apartment is located just a 15-minute walk from Lake Gålåvatnet, offering great opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. It is also fully possible to walk home from Borgen and the Peer Gynt Cultural Festival.
In the winter, the alpine ski resort is just a 3-minute drive away, unless you prefer to use the connection trail above the house and leave the car behind.
