Gålå Village Cabin was built in 1991. The cabin is 85m² and has 8-11 sleeping places distributed over 5 bedrooms, a toilet, bathroom, sauna, wood stove, and a large veranda with a gas grill. There is an outdoor storage shed and parking space. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a waffle iron and a mixer. The cabin has sleeping capacity for up to 11 people, but is recommended for 8 persons. All beds received new, comfortable thick mattresses in 2017. In the fall of 2017, an additional room was built that can be used as a lounge, meeting room for sports teams, or youth room, featuring a nice dining area with space for 8 people. Additionally, a new family bunk bed with 3 sleeping places was added in May 2018. The cabin is located at the top of Gålå, just a stone's throw from the store. Offers a beautiful view of Jotunheimen, Gålå Lake, and Valsfjell. The fantastic cross-country ski trail network with 630 km of trails begins right next to the cabin. Ski-in ski-out access to a family-friendly downhill ski area.
