Gålå Grend Cabin was built in 1995. The cabin is 73m² and has 7 (8) beds distributed over 4 bedrooms, a toilet, bathroom, sauna, wood stove, and veranda. There is an outdoor storage shed and parking space. A new double bed was added in fall 2016 and December 2018. One of the bedrooms has been converted into a small living room with a sofa bed and TV. The cabin is located at the top of Gålå, just a stone's throw from the shop. It offers a beautiful view of Jotunheimen, Gålåvannet, and Valsfjell. The fantastic trail network with 630 km of cross-country skiing trails begins right near the cabin. It is ski-in, ski-out to a family-friendly alpine slope.
