Toppagrenda 24 - Gålå

From the two living rooms, there is a beautiful view to the west, overlooking Lake Gålå and the mountains beyond.

This is a spacious and cozy cabin with 3 bedrooms-2 rooms with double beds and 1 room with a family bunk bed. In addition, there is a sleeping alcove with a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 people (an extra mattress for this is stored in the ‘sleeping bench’ in the dining area). Two living rooms, two bathrooms, and a sauna. Of the two living rooms, one is an open-concept living room with a kitchen, and the other is a fireplace lounge. Two of the bedrooms have double beds (140 x 210 cm), and the third bedroom has a family bunk bed (110 x 200 cm on the bottom and 75 x 200 cm on top). The cabin is 113 sqm, and there is a road all the way to the front door.
From both living rooms, you can enjoy a beautiful view to the west, overlooking Lake Gålå and the mountains beyond. The cabin also has a large terrace, partially covered. On the terrace, you'll find both a charcoal grill and a fire pit, perfect for enjoying the scenic views. TV with streaming (Chromecast and HDMI cable). Both living rooms have fireplaces — an open fireplace in one and a built-in fireplace that provides excellent warmth in the other. The living room with the open fireplace also has a wood-burning stove that gives off cozy heat.
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including a coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.
The ski trails begin 500 meters from the cabin and connect to Gålå’s fantastic trail network. From here, you can go on both short and long tours, depending on your preference and fitness level. After 1.5 km of skiing, you’ll reach the lighted ski trail. The alpine ski resort is also about 1.5 km from the cabin.
At the Joker grocery store, about 1.7 km away, you’ll find most of what you need — whether it’s food for your stay or ski gear and other essentials.
Outside, there’s a storage shed where you can store your skis and prepare them before heading out.
In summer and fall, there are wonderful hiking trails starting right outside the cabin. It’s also a short distance (approx. 1.5 km) to the Peer Gynt performance area (Gålåspelet).
The cabin is located at an elevation of 850 meters above sea level.
 
Dogs are welcome. We also have a medium?sized dog crate available in the storage room that tenants can access (the storage area that’s part of the garage). They’re welcome to use it if they want. Please ensure the dog does not lie on the furniture.
