At the top of Gålå Village, just a stone's throw from Peer Gynt Skistadion, lies Cabin No. 46. The cabin was built in 1992 and is 73 square meters. It has 4 bedrooms with 7 sleeping places, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, a wood stove, and a large veranda. There is parking space with an electric car charger, a campfire grill, and a gas grill. Additionally, sledges and 2 snow racers are available for loan. The cabin is located right next to the Peer Gynt ski arena and facing open terrain, with ski trails and a nice sledding hill just outside the door. It’s the perfect location for young children and outdoor play on skis and sleds.
It is a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Gålå Handel. The view is stunning of both Jotunheimen, Valsfjellet, and Gålåvatnet. There are excellent cross-country ski trails (a trail network of 630 km). Ski-in ski-out access to a family-friendly alpine slope.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a combined oven/microwave, a stove top, a combined refrigerator/freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster, and an Nespresso machine.
There is a dining nook with a sofa bench and chairs. The living room features a corner sofa, a fireplace, TV, and internet. The bathroom, laundry room, and a separate toilet are also available. (Note: No sauna)
The veranda has a grill, dining table, chairs, and a dining sofa.
